Now, we have to rearrange the Nodes to make both the Diffuse BSDF
and Glossy BSDF connect to the Mix Shader. The Mix Shader connects
to the Material Output.
To connect Nodes, we have two options:
You can break the connection from the Diffuse BSDF to the
Material Output by holding the CTRL key while clicking and
dragging with the right mouse button. Click and drag from the
output sockets of the Diffuse and Glossy to the Mix Shader.
Connect the Mix Shader to the Material Output.
Since the Diffuse BSDF already has a connection to the Material
Output, move the Mix Shader Node until it is above the connection
line between the Diffuse BSDF and Material Output. You will see
the line becoming highlighted, and if you release the Mix Shader, it
rearranges the connections and stay between both Nodes. You
can connect the Glossy BSDF to the Mix Shader once the Diffuse
has a connection.
Both options produce the same result, which you can see in Figure 5.7.
